What goes wrong in a QuickBooks file?
QuickBooks Online makes it easy to record transactions and just as easy to record them twice. These are the problems we fix most often when we take over a file:
- Duplicate income or expenses, entered once by hand and again from the bank feed
- Customer payments stuck in Payments to deposit (formerly Undeposited Funds) and never matched to a deposit
- Shopify or Stripe payouts booked as net revenue, which hides fees and refunds
- Balances left in Uncategorized Income, Uncategorized Expense or Opening Balance Equity
- Bank rules that send transactions to the wrong account month after month

Which QuickBooks Online plan do you need?
Choose the plan by the features you need, not the price. Class and location tracking and inventory need QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced; Advanced adds more users and finer user permissions. If you’re unsure, we’ll tell you on the first call which plan fits, and whether you have outgrown QuickBooks for something like NetSuite.

What does QuickBooks bookkeeping cost?
Our Basic plan starts at $199 a month for up to two bank or card accounts and 100 transactions a month. Do I have to share my QuickBooks password?
No. You invite us as your accountant from inside QuickBooks Online, which gives us our own access without your password. You can remove it at any time.
What is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor?
A ProAdvisor is an accounting professional in Intuit’s QuickBooks ProAdvisor program, and certified ProAdvisors have passed Intuit’s QuickBooks exams. Elite is the program’s highest tier, which our founder, Hassaan Saleem, CPA, holds.
Can you fix a messy QuickBooks file?
